Talk is cheap!

Talk is cheap! In Illinois we have as a pending case the Sykes case as a prime example systemic corruption. Every element of elder abuse and exploitation of senior citizens is present in the facts of the case. Mary Sykes' estate was literally robbed of about a million dollars. I say robbed because her safety deposit box was drilled and the assets not inventoried.

Two guardian ad litem (yes 2) have worked diligently to make certain that not only is Mary Sykes not represented by counsel, but, that the plenary guardian who was the subject of several of Mary's cries for help to the authorities has complete dominion over Mary's liberty, property, civil and human rights. Any attorney or other person who looks into this case is the subject of the Gulag.

Mary's younger daughter has been subjected to frivilous and spurious litigation that gives new meaning to the word "star chamber." A lawyer who notarized a document signed by Mary was disqualified and yours truly was sanctioned by the Court even though it had no jurisdiction. The Appellate Court had to reverse the sanction; however, the two guardian ad litems used their clout to commence ARDC proceedings. (So much for due process - it is all of record! The First Amendment has been suspended!)

The two guardian ad litem are the illustration of just about everything that has given American lawyers such a rotten reputation. They failed to report the fact that the plenary guardian has isolated Mary from every activity that she engaged in, isolated her from her younger daughter, and even her younger sister. They sit nodding their heads in attornment when the plenary guardian informed the Court that Mary was making tremendous progress = Indeed, Mary was observed by a former Federal officer in a day care facility totally deprived of any human stimulation starring at four walls. (This is better than the deprivation that Mary suffers being stuffed with drugs to dull her senses and deprived of her hearing aids). If the issue of Mary being represented by an attorney is raised one of the GALs can be heard to say to he talked with Mary and she was not interested in being represented, and the other blaming the younger daughter for exercising un-due influence.

While words flow and all the 'bleeding hearts' wring their hands, Congress debates preserving grandma's social security check, and law enforcement ignores the problem. The judicial system rallies behind the miscreant GALs and other Court appointed miscreants - enforcing vigorously the law in relation to the well meaning, conscientious GALs and other court appointed people.

If World Elder Abuse Awareness Day or any other fund raising activity is to have meaning it must result in the honest, complete and comprehensive investigation of Mary Sykes case (in Illinois) and every similar case. In Sykes we have a million dollars of assets that have been absorbed by the plenary guardian et al. There are income taxes due - with America 15 trillion dollars in debt there is a pecuniary incentive for at the very least the miscreants to forced to pay taxes on the 'booty!'

Talk is cheap - let us see some action!
