Survey: Illinois 2nd worst run state

CHICAGO—
A new survey shows that Illinois is the second-worst run state in the country.
The survey was conducted by 24/7 Wall Street, which reviewed data on financial health, standard of living, and government services.
Illinois was ranked 43rd last year but dropped because of its poor credit rating, budget shortfalls and legal challenges against former governor Blagojevich.
California was the only other state worse than Illinois. The surveys also puts Michigan, Arizona and Nevada in the worst five.
The best include Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa
