Right now in Florida there is a major campaign against health care fraud.    Some of the most senior of the nursing home operators are on the run.   Sheldon **** has been spilling his guts to the FBI for about a year.   The FBI has a copy of a deposition in which Eric R***** admits to creating an Enron type operation.

The cry for an HONEST investigation is being heard, as is the cry that government is not interested in collecting the taxes due from the miscreants - it is only interested in soaking the rest of us so that the bad guys can flourish!    The message is being heard by the electorate.   Senator Kirk will go down to defeat in the election if he does not wise up and grab the initiative.   Other elected officials are facing a similar fate.   The nursing home fraud - i.e. every resident voting for the dominate political party will not help most of the good guy pols - they are of the wrong political party.   For each it is a survival issue.

Quite frankly - Joe Citizen has been taxed to the max -  for him to support criminals in political office is absurd and the political realist is going to the learn the lesson that you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time.   The assaults on civil rights by miscreants in public office who are paid with public funds, such as Jerome Larkin are being exposed by the blogs as a blot on human dignity.   

Larkin and his co-conspirators have joint and several liability for damages and the Federal and State income taxes due from this pernicious fiduciary theft of funds from the elderly and the disabled.   The fact that a corrupt jurist awards the funds or looks the other way does not bind the taxman - it only makes the corrupt jurist a co-conspirator.
