Thirty-six U.S. Senate seats are on the ballot this November. Twenty-one of them are held by Democrats and 15 by Republicans. Thirty-six governorships are at stake, too.
In Rasmussen Reports polling this week, the gap has narrowed slightly between Democrat Jeanne Shaheen and Republican Scott Brown in New Hampshire's closely-watched Senate race. Shaheen now leads Brown 48% to 42%. Among voters that are certain to vote on Election Day, that lead narrows to 48% to 44%. New Hampshire is still rated Leans Democrat in the Rasmussen Reports 2014 Senate Balance of Power rankings.
