The fate of the estate of Robert Boudreau will be decided in Probate Court. With no will, three local attorneys will seek a court appointment for an intestate letter granting supervised administration of the estate. Evelyn Boudreau Wyble, a sister, will be represented by attorney John Spencer.
Grant and Grace Boudreau are minor children being represented by their mother, Pamela Boudreau, and attorney Nicholas Robb.
The other person who's part of this intestate probate case is Deana Marriott of Maryville, Mo., who is being represented by attorney Hugh Kranitz. Ms. Marriott was an accountant for six years, representing Mr. Boudreau.
Buchanan County Circuit Judge Dan Kellogg set the case for review at 10:45 a.m. April 7.
Mr. Boudreau, 49, died unexpectedly Feb. 2 without a will. He was the founder and owner of Boudreaux's Louisiana Seafood & Steaks, a popular St. Joseph restaurant that opened in 2001.
