46% Say America's Best Days Are in the Past

Americans remain pessimistic about the nation's future. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 34% of Likely U.S. Voters think America's best days are still to come, although that's up from 31% in October 2013,   the lowest level of optimism in two-and-a-half years.  Read More
With Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn's announcement this week that he will resign at the end of the current congressional session, 36 of the 100 U.S. Senate seats are now up for grabs in November's midterm congressional elections. Twenty-one are held by Democrats, 15 by Republicans. Read More
