The web site, Justice 4 Jodi, said the Jodi Arias Appellate Fund is for "payments of the beneficiary's legal expenses related to the appeals of her pending criminal case, including, without limitation, attorney fees, investigator fees, expert-witness fees and transcript filing fees. The web site also notes donations made are not tax-deductible.
The convicted killer announced earlier this month that she wanted to file for bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, her attorneys will attend a closed-door meeting Thursday for a settlement conference that could take the death penalty off the table.
A jury found Arias guilty of first-degree murder in May of killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, but jurors deadlocked on her sentence.
