Before he died nearly five years ago, well-known artist Robert Rauschenberg left a $600-million estate. On Monday, three men in charge of handling that estate were in court fighting over millions of dollars, according to The New York Times.
Three trustees of the estate are asking Rauschenberg's foundation for $60 million in fees they say they are owed. They say the fees stem from handling property in both New York and Florida, the Times reports.
The court battle began in 2011 when the suit was originally filed against the foundation. The trustees are Rauschenberg's longtime friends and business partners.
