Tribal families battle effort to reject them

September 20, 2013

If Adelina Parker's family is ejected from their tribe they could lose federal funding, health care and their homes.

In the Pacific Northwest hundreds of Native Americans are about to be kicked out of their tribe. It's a process called disenrollment, where tribal councils determine who belongs and who doesn't. Allen Schauffler reports from Deming, Washington.
