Britney Spears’ New Man 'Signs Confidentiality Agreement' Under The Watchful Eye Of Her Dad

And they say romance is dead!

Britney Spears has been notoriously unlucky in love since the end of her relationship with fellow Mouseketeer Justin Timberlake, and following several legal upsets it’s not surprising that her new boyfriend David Lucado has reportedly been asked to sign confidentiality papers.
Britney’s still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears, and it seems that he was instrumental in bringing them together following her break-up from Jason Trawick earlier this year. Jamie was apparently concerned that his daughter was a bit lonely, and sprang into action, conscripting his friend David to be her new love interest:
“Jamie has known David (Lucado) for a while, and always thought he was a thoughtful, and an all-around good guy. Britney needed someone to keep her company after she and Jason (Trawick) broke up.
“It had to be a male, because Britney just doesn’t respond as well to females. And remember, she is still under a conservatorship.”

How could we forget? When Britney and Jason broke up in January, Britney’s dad became solely responsible for her estate, and with David undergoing quite an extensive bit of paperwork, could Jamie be sizing him up as a fellow conservator? Radar’s source said:
“Before David started spending time with Brit, he had to undergo a background check, and sign a confidentiality agreement, all arranged by Papa Spears. Jamie makes sure if things go south between Jamie and Britney, details about her life wouldn’t be made public.
“David had absolutely no problem with it, and completely understood why it was being done.”
David’s a lawyer, so we’re sure he has the utmost respect for a binding contract, and just as well; the last thing Britney needs is another legal tussle over the details of her private life.
