It is particularly egregious that the ARDC is using lawyer fee money to put a chill on free speech from lawyers!
We are supposed to be the ones to speak out when we find corruption! Why is the ARDC censoring and attempting to silence us when we do so? I would really, really like to know.
Also, while the ARDC pretends that I and Ken are maligning the good names of the Cook County Circuit courts and certain attorneys that practice there (without jurisidiction, I might add), after googling "cook county courts and corruption" I have hundreds of hits! Scholarly articles, indepth professional reports of complaints, gripes, arrests and convictions. The first reported incident of corruption in cook county was some vendor contract--where a lawyer was involved back in 1868.
Apparently there is a steady stream of this nonsense. I once talked to the court FBI investigator at 219 S. Dearborn when one of my transcripts (from probate, of course) mysteriously disappeared and he said there were 4 lawyers there prosecuting corruption cases at the Daley center and they always had plenty to do.
Again, the ARDC must be passing out blinders as the attys walk in the doors each day for work because they seem to be the only attys in Chicago that do not know all of this.

The ARDC should always uphold a lawyer's right to free speech and to tell the truth.
