Your ProbateShark wonders why Alice's estate which never paid more than $100.00 in Federal Taxes since Alice owned mostly tax free municipal bonds would get a $35,000.00 tax refund from the U.S. Maybe that is why the estate's banker is sweating each time he comes to court.
