a criminal investigation against Lincolnwood School District 74,

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office has opened a criminal investigation against Lincolnwood School District 74, school officials have announced.
In a prepared statement, school officials said the district would comply with the criminal investigation. Officials would not comment on the nature of the investigation.
A representative of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office could not be immediately reached for comment.
The district has hired the law firm Hinshaw and Culbertson LLP and its attorneys Sergio Acosta and Anthony Ficarelli as special counsel to assist in the investigation, school officials said.
