Mad gynecologist rams his vehicle into car showroom

The man, who arranged a pogrom of the car showroom in Moscow, can be sentenced up to five years in jail, Interfax reports with reference to Moscow law-enforcement authorities.

The incident took place on April 7 on Saturday, at Pelican-Avto showroom. Employees of the showroom told the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper that one of their regular customers, Mikhail Kustov, 41, arrived to pick up his Nissan vehicles from the service station. The man, a father of two, works as a gynecologist; he is also an administrator of a network of clinics in Moscow.

He brought the car on April 1, and it was ready on April 7. According to the employees of the showroom, it was not the first car, which the man had purchased from the company. He also had his cars serviced at the service station on a number of times, so he was familiar with all procedures.

The man said afterwards that he had lost temper because of the behavior of the showroom managers. He had to spend several hours in the showroom, although he had previously arranged an appointment to avoid any delays. Being gripped with emotions, he got into his Suzuki Grand Vitara vehicle, on which he arrived, and rammed the SUV into one of the support poles. Then he drove inside the showroom and damaged several of the showcased vehicles.

Luckily, no one was injured in the incident. All other clients and staff managed to run up the stairs.

Security guards dragged Kustov out of his Suzuki, but they had to break a window to open the door of the car.

Experts later said that the gynecologist was in sober mind when he lost control over himself.

Employees of Pelican Avto also said that the man damaged two vehicles and furniture during the attack.
