Coyote pups round-up

Editor's note: Are they cute or are they cute? Your ProbateShark believes that next to a Shark or wolf...the next best creature is a coyote. This Shark feeds our resident girl coyote, Wylie the best dog food right at our back door.

There is something inherently warm in the psyche of humans and animals for babies, perhaps the large head and small face triggers that love. This Shark had a friend who on a battlefield during the Russian Revolution as a small child rooted for food in the pockets of dead soldiers in the "no-man's-land". The Russian soldiers on both sides, who would have shot any adult, did not fire and allowed the starving little girl to continue her foraging. These Russian soldiers had a soft spot for little kids.

Researchers for the FPDCC, along with those from the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation, were searching for pups still in or near their dens.
